Pick limit based on time since last pick

It would be useful to limit the amount of an item that can be picked base on usual pick rate. For example the user normally picks 2 of item X per week but they have picked 4 this morning and there is now no stock left. It would be good to limit the pick rate or at least send a notification before its too late.
